9 days in one week?
In my search for happiness and the conclusion people are getting tired of working from 9till5 for years while in Sweden people do the same amount of work in 6 hours and are way more happy. My question was, why not make the whole day shorter instead of working hours only.
A Whole new calendar
I created a whole new calendar to be faster happier and work efficiently.
Here comes the math:
I created a calendar where one day is not 24 but 18 hours. That gives me 6 hours extra which gives me 2 extra days in one week. That leaves me with nine days instead of seven days a week.
I lived it myself
I decided to live nine days in one week myself to test if it worked. My schedule looked pretty weird because I have to get op at night sometimes and go to sleep in the morning.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Nightday, Duskday, Saturday and Sunday
Does it work?
I filmed myself during the week to make a short docu of my research.
If I'm not counting the tiredness, it really worked! When I had to get up at night the other side of our planet wakes up, so you'll have different news posts on your timeline. Those posts came in Holland 1,5 day later so I was faster with that. I also did not had that moment in the afternoon where I felt tired. Because my day was almost over at that time. that felt pretty nice. I actually did the same amount of work and felt more rested because I slept more.
So, whats next?
How awesome would it be to build a community who lives by that caledar to do some real reseacrh ( one week is not enough ofcourse ) to look how people change when the're getting used to that schedule.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines asked us to come up with a concept showing they are engaging with their customers.
When you're at the airport, there are always people who carry too much luggage. And of course, you don't want to pay for those extra kilograms.
But there are also people who carry a half-empty bag with on that same flight.
We introduced Baggage buddies.
With this concept, you can choose if you want to donate these extra kilograms to someone who packed too much. When there’s someone with too much weight in their baggage and he or she (mostly she) accepts the donation, the suitcases will be put on the scale together.
The people in question won’t find out about each other until they arrive at their destination and pick up their luggage. There, the suitcases are bonded together with a ribbon and there they will meet each other.
You can already imagine how that will work in a sweet little content video for KLM. Bagage buddies for KLM.

I am making a child-book, currently working on it and going to publish it. It's about fat animals and filled with 100 illustrations of fat animals you'll never expect to be fat. A fat ant stick insect and what do they eat?
If you want to see more illustrations drop me a line, I can't show everything yet because of the publishing.
